Set up in 1983 with the aim of expanding relations with the financial community in the Federal Republic of Germany (Italy's most important trade partner), IMI's Frankfurt representative office was closed in 1988.
IMI Verwaltungs AG was founded at the same time, as the first step towards the creation of a banking subsidiary in the region. The work previously handled by the representative office was entrusted to the new company, which also carried out marketing activities. |
