The bank's stock parcel was held by Istituto Bancario San Paolo (IBSP, with 54%), Banco Lariano (20%) and Creditanstalt-Bankverein (26%). After IBSP acquired a controlling interest in Bankhaus Brüll & Kallmus from Bankverein, the bank's name was changed to Sanpaolo Bank (Austria) AG. In 2004 IBSP sold its shares to Grazer Wechselseitige Versicherung AG.
