Reported to the Trieste branch.
In December 1943 an official decision was taken to close the agency. Its furniture, furnishings and equipment were requisitioned by Germany's High Command (which paid BCI no compensation of any sort), and the premises were given free of charge to the "Winter Opera", with the contract with the owner being annulled.
